1. Create a sound file. SunAudio format is suggested. See the section on audio file formats for more details.
   • MacOS - use soundmachine
   • MS Windows - Use GoldWave Digital Audio Editor
   • On unix - you will likely cause yourself a massive headache, so I really highly suggest you use a Mac or PC :)
2. Put it in your file system where it can be read by the web server
3. Make a link to it from a web page
   Example HTML source:

   This would be rendered like this in your browser: a_sound.au
